On Thursday night on WWAY we featured the championship game of the girls holiday high school basketball tournament at Laney High School. Undefeated Laney hosted Ashley, but the Bucs didn't capture the title. It went to the Screaming Eagles instead. A serious crash involving a tractor trailer and a church van in Transylvania County Wednesday night has depleted our supply of O negative blood in the Asheville area, and we are now utilizing blood supplies from areas across the region.
