CFCC introduces new president

video Cape Fear Community College officially welcomed its new president this morning. School leaders gathered to introduce Dr. Ted Spring as the school's new leader. Spring replaces Dr. Eric McKeithan, who retired in June.

'Safe Haven' reshoots to impact ferry schedule

videoThe return of the cast and crew of the movie "Safe Haven" will have an impact on the Southport-Fort Fisher Ferry next week. The ferry will run an abbreviated schedule Saturday, Nov. 17, to assist with reshoots for the movie based on the Nicholas Sparks book.
