A state-run ferry route connecting islands along North Carolina's Outer Banks is back in service after a vessel ran aground in rough seas. The N.C. Department of Transportation says the Motor Vessel Frisco ran aground in Hatteras Inlet about 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday with 35 passengers, six crew members and 19 vehicles on board.
