Police said 22-year-old Caleb Stoker shot and killed 41-year-old Ricky Carroll next to the boat ramp at Tory Hole Park nearly two weeks ago.

Bladen and Columbus County school kids may learn to read at an even earlier age, thanks to a federal grant.
