Region's road project list trimmed to save money

video Funding for several road construction projects in our area have been cut. The NCDOT’s 10-year transportation improvement plan was underfunded by $73 million. In order to offset that amount, funding for seven projects will be eliminated.

MTV's "Teen Mom 2" star Jenelle Evans is out of jail on a $10,000 secured bond. Police arrested the reality star from Oak Island last night on a probation violation.

Boil water advisory issued for some Leland neighborhoods

The water consumers of Brunswick Regional Water and Sewer H2GO, in Brunswick County are experiencing periods of low pressure and outages in the distribution system in the Old Town Subdivision, the areas affective are Albemarle Place, and North Olde Towne Wynd to Windsor Drive.

McIntyre: Focus should be local, not on Washington in wake of credit downgrade

We caught up with Rep. Mike McIntyre today in Brunswick Ccounty and asked him for his thoughts about Standard & Poor's downgrade of America's credit rating. The congressman says southeastern North Carolina cannot focus on the debate in Washington, but rather should focus our attention here locally to boost our own economy.

Bruns. Co. Early College HS heads back to class with new focus

video It was back to school today for hundreds of students at Brunswick County Early College High School. This year is a special one for the school. It is the first year BCECHS will be take part in a national program that focuses on science, technology, engineering and math.
