With Christmas quickly approaching, many leaders in Raleigh are packing up and heading home to spend time with their family and friends. But not everyone is full of the holiday spirit. Texting and driving is never a good thing, especially if you've been drinking. A New Hanover County teacher admitted she was doing at least of those things when she hit a van last week. Highway Patrol says she was doing the other. Full story...

Yesterday we told you armed federal agents surrounded a home in Castle Hayne as they tried to execute an arrest warrant. The man they were looking for, Gary Canady, was not in the home, and today the US Marshals Service continues to look for him. Full story...
