videoFantasy football is the most popular fantasy sport. There will be millions playing nationwide over the next few months. Thousands are expected to play this season in the Wilmington area. In fact, bars in the Port City that typically don't cater to the sports crowd, are starting to cater to fantasy football players for draft night. After all, the start of the NFL regular season is just two nights away.

Blue Ribbon Commission looks to prevent youth violence

video Safety, wellness and education are three focus areas the Blue Ribbon Commission are now directing its attention towards to prevent violence among area youth. Back when the organization started in 2008, leaders focused on reducing out-of-school suspensions, the high school dropout rate, and engaging an army of volunteers to come into the youth enrichment zone and help serve the community.

Fundraiser benefits foundation dedicated to murdered college student
