The New Hanover County Commission reiterates the need for Brian Berger to resign. Berger was arrested last Friday on a second DWI charge after Wilmington Police said he was found slumped over the steering wheel of his car. An 18-year-old Carolina Shores man faces charges after crashing near the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge Saturday night. The Brunswick County Sheriff's Office says a deputy was attempting to pull Dale James Voigt over for speeding on Highway 17 in Leland when he fled toward Wilmington, and crashed near the bridge.
