The New Hanover County Commission reiterates the need for Brian Berger to resign. Berger was arrested last Friday on a second DWI charge after Wilmington Police said he was found slumped over the steering wheel of his car. After Monday's scheduled meeting, Chairman Woody White spoke about their concern and reiterated the Commission's request for his resignation. Full story...

An 18-year-old Carolina Shores man faces charges after crashing near the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge Saturday night. The Brunswick County Sheriff's Office says a deputy was attempting to pull Dale James Voigt over for speeding on Highway 17 in Leland when he fled toward Wilmington, and crashed near the bridge.
