The weather was perfect this weekend for all types of water-sports, even...cardboard boat racing? That's right. Hundreds of people soaked up the sun at Lake Waccamaw for the North Carolina Cardboard Boat Championship races. The challenge was to design and build a human-powered, cardboard boat that could finish, and stay afloat, during a 200-yard course around the lake.
