Trot Nixon accepts 'ALS Ice Bucket Challenge'

videoIt's an easy concept that is now viral. It is clearly the latest rage. Somehow dumping a bucket of ice water over your head has never been so fun. The purpose of the challenge is to raise awareness of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, better known as Lou Gehrig's disease(ALS). WWAY's Trot Nixon accepted the challenge on Wednesday.

Kevin Keatts throws out first pitch at Shark Tank; Sharks win third straight

videoClearly this was one of the best nights to be at the Shark Tank all year. UNCW basketball coach Kevin Keatts threw out the first pitch. The Florence head coach got tossed out of the game after throwing a slew of bats onto the field. Michael Montville hit a homer for the second night in a row. Jon Olczak was terrific on the mound.
