NHRMC may soon have new management

New Hanover County Regional Medical Center may soon have a change in management. Hospital officials held a town hall meeting tonight to discuss implications of a proposed agreement with Carolinas Healthcare Systems to take over day-to-day operations.

Passengers removed from plane in Charlotte after knife found

Authorities say passengers were removed from a U.S. Airways plane in Charlotte and had to go through security screening again after a passenger found a knife in an overhead bin during boarding.

Tabor City bank robbed

Tabor City Police Chief Donald Dowless says the BB&T on Hickman Road in Tabor City was robbed around 2:45 p.m. Thursday. So far investigators have not released a description of the robber.

Two planes searched at CLT after security scares
