Sharks back in first on Play for Emily night

video The Wilmington Sharks were sporting new shirts tonight. Each shirt was auctioned off, and the Ronald McDonald House donated the money to the Play for Emily golf tournament.

Steelers Mendenhall sues Champion over tweet dispute

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall is suing for $1 million in damages after his tweets about Osama bin Laden and Sept. 11 led the Champion sports apparel company to drop his endorsement deal.

Stilman White won't play in East-West game

Future UNC Tar Heel guard Stilman White won't be playing in Monday's East-West All-Star basketball game in Greensboro. White is a graduate of Hoggard High School in Wilmington.

Silvagni & Machado dominate Reef Sweetwater Pro-Am surf event at Wrightsville Beach

Sharks take over first place in CPL

Believe it !!! The Wilmington Sharks are in first place. The Sharks haven't made the playoffs since 2003, but that appears to be their destiny this summer.
