Wilmington native Tommy Kane is going to have to purchase a larger trophy case. The former WWAY sports intern won another Emmy recently. It's his second Emmy this year.

video The Wilmington Hammerheads beat Charlotte on Tuesday. This wasn't just a typical run of the mill win. This was a come from behind overtime thriller. As a result, the Hammerheads advance in the US Open Cup.

The ship that buried Osama bin Laden at sea may host the first ever college basketball game on an aircraft carrier. The Navy and the NCAA are in talks to hold the "Carrier Classic" on Veterans Day.
