McEnroe, Martin serve up support for Althea Gibson Tennis Center

The real winner was the Althea Gibson Tennis Center at Empie Park, which gets the proceeds from the event, including a donation from tennis great John McEnroe.

ECU football coach meets & greets in Wilmington

video "Pirate Nation" is strong in Wilmington despite the presence of UNCW. In fact Wilmington is one of East Carolina's largest alumni bases. Football coach Ruffin McNeill stopped into town on Thursday to visit members of the Wilmington Pirate Club.

CAA's VCU falls short at NCAA Final Four

Butler will be playing in the national title game for the second year in a row. The Bulldogs knocked off VCU on Saturday night at the Final Four in Houston. Butler will play Connecticut on Monday night for all the marbles.
