video Doctors told the Swann family that Bonnie & Maggie Swann would never walk or talk sixteen years ago. It turns out they were wrong. The Swann twins talk up a storm. In fact Maggie Swann is a proud member of the New Hanover High School varsity track team.

video The Wilmington Hammerheads traveled across town for an exhibition with UNCW Wednesday night. The Hammers broke a 1-1 tie with two second half goals as they prepare for the upcoming USL Pro season.

Young catcher reels in first pitch at Chapel Hill

videoAn amazing story took place over the weekend in Chapel Hill involving a young boy from Wilmington. North Carolina and Duke played three games this past weekend at Boshamer Stadium. The Tar Heels swept all three games, but Zion Kinlaw of Wilmington stole the show.

CAA's VCU gets into Final Four, UNC does not

ACC fans are accustomed to having at least one ACC team in the Final Four. This year the ACC came up empty when the final surviving ACC lost on Sunday. The CAA has a team heading to the Final Four though.

Wilmington connection in Duke-UNC baseball series this weekend
