WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- It sounds like a story out of the old west: masked gunmen robbing a gambling parlor. But it happened right here in Wilmington.

Employees and customers told police two men robbed 777 Sweepstakes at 5214 Market Street just after midnight. One of the robbers was armed with a shotgun. Both men wore hoodies that partially covered their faces. They took cash from the register, as well as cash and a wallet with a debit card from customers.

Witnesses say the robbers drove away in a white or silver four-door sedan, possibly a Lincoln or Cadillac.

Guess you don't watch the news. More loopholes and judges ruling makes certain games LEGAL. Pot o gold machines however remain ILLEGAL and anyone operating those games can be fined and machines confiscated and anyone playing will be charged as well.
