PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) -- Investigators found more than 150 marijuana plants at a Pender County home yesterday.

The Pender and New Hanover County Sheriff's Offices narcotics units seized the pot plants at 104 Wyndham Way in the Scotts Hill community.

They arrested Thomas Kennard moore for trafficking marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for storage and sell of controlled substances.

"We looked out the window and we stopped," said Parkar Surratt, who saw officers seize the plants. "We thought he was moving, because this white trailer was parked up to his front door, and I guess they were taking stuff.

Moore is in the Pender County Jail under $50,000 secured bond.

Pender Co. treated me good. Did what they had to do. I don't expect everyone to understand that it was medical and not abused street drugs. It was a poor choice. Going ahead and moving to California where I am a 100% legal cannabis patient and licensed to grow would have been a better option!

This another well job done by the Pender County Narcotics Unit. Keep it up. Don't worry about what this pot heads say.

really, weren't they some type of exotic orchid?

Who cares!!!

A lot of cancer patients in this town are probably worried.

a personal stash. that's all.

Are you kidding?
