Cat with medical problems stolen from rescue group at pet store

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- An area animal rescue group is asking for your help finding a stolen cat with special needs.

The Cat Adoption Team says it does adoptions at PetSmart on New Center Drive in Wilmington. The group says someone stole a visually-impaired kitten from an unlocked cage at the store recently. The 12-week-old male kitten needs to be observed at all times because he has been having seizures.

If anyone has seen this kitten or knows who has him, the cat adoption team asks that he be returned to the petsmart as soon as possible, no questions asked.
