Wilmington teen misses cut at duck calling contest

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- We told you last week about a Wilmington teen competing for the unique title of World's Best Duck Caller. Nathan Garrett and his dad traveled to Arkansas over the weekend to compete in the World's Championship Duck Calling Contest.

Garrett was the youngest of more than 60 competitors. He did not advance in the competition, but says he had fun and learned a lot from the veteran callers.

Garrett still has confidence in his calls and says he plans on competing as much as he can.
