Rally to support ballpark plan, raise money for Miracle Field

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- A fundraiser and rally tonight in Wilmington aims to take you out to the ballgame.

Port City Baseball is hosting a rally at Hell's Kitchen to support a proposed ballpark in Wilmington. The event will also raise money to build a Miracle Field, which is a special baseball field that allows handicapped children and adults enjoy the national pastime.

A raffle starts at 5:30 p.m. A screening of the movie "Field of Dreams" starts at 7 p.m.

Anyone who missed this should donate.
Mandalay who might bring a team here is a HUGE supporter of this in minor league teams.
Anyone of any age,gender,disability can now play.
That is what life is all about,being active.
