plants for petes sake..

Come on! Look at that picture people! They are stinkin' plants. A glorified green house. The products that come out of our ABC stores ruin more lives than what you see in those pictures.

You're all crazy

Anyone that says these people growing and smoking pot are going to get into hard drugs need to get educated a little bit. I live on the other side of the country where it's actually legal...but am originally from wilmington...and you wouldn't believe how many people benefit from the medical program here. The thing all of these cops wont tell you...is the only reason they want it to remain illegal in NC is because of all the money they are getting to keep it illegal....to make these busts...and how much money for-profit prisons make off of people who have never done anything wrong aside from enjoying a little pot. It's nice being able to smoke a little here and there without having to worry about catching a charge and have my entire adult life ruined.

If anything you need to worry about all the idiots driving around wilmington drunk...that the cops never catch.

HAVE ANY OF YOU EVER HAD TO

HAVE ANY OF YOU EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH OR LOST A LOVED ONE OR A FRIEND THAT STARTED WITH MARY-JO AND GRADUATED TO STRONGER DRUGS? MAKE MARY-JO LEGAL, THEN WE CAN ALL WALK AROUND STONED FROM SECOND HAND SMOKE, LIKE GETTING CANCER FROM CIGS. THANKFULLY, I,V NEVER HAD THAT PROBLEM, BUT I KNOW SOME ONE WHO HAS AND ITS NOT EASY OR FUN TO STAND BY AND NOT BE ABLE TO HELP THEM UNTIL THEY ARE READY FOR IT, IF EVER.

When

are we going to stop chasing people tied with marijuana and just start taxing the crap out of it...BILLIONS of dollars are tossed away every year on this silly plant! We all know how prohibition works...IT DOESN'T..just makes what you are prohibiting a commodity worth a LOT OF MONEY!

AMEN

I agree wholeheartedly, I am tired of our tax money being wasted on a drug that in itself is harmless. Just like the people who smoke it.

They know

They (lawmakers) know the truth about marijuana but have been bought and paid for by the big tobacco, alcohol, big pharma and law enforcement/Prison Industries. The should rename the movie Reefer Madness, Big Government Maddness.
