WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- The SBI is done with its investigation into allegations of rape against NC Highway Patrol Tpr. Bryan Phillips.
District Attorney Ben David says the report has been sent to the Attorney General's office to decide if charges will be filed. David says his office should know more by next week.
Phillips has been on administrative duty during the investigation.

When this trooper is cleared of these ridiculous charges, then this bimbo will not be held responsible for false charges. This happens more than you think. I know a friend who was under investigation by the SBI. Charges brought up by this woman who got a DUI. When the SBI cleared this officer, nothing happened to the woman and the thousands of dollars and man hours that went into the investigation were paid for by the tax payers. Of course the weasel just went on her merry way with no retribution.
