WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Wilmington Police arrested a woman last night after finding her child with two aggressive pit bulls and drugs in her car.
Police saw 24-year-old Jessica Davenport dropping off a suspected drug dealer. Officers followed Davenport and pulled her over for a traffic infraction.
She confessed to buying heroin from the dealer. Officers called social services for the child and animal control took the dogs.
