9-year-olds from Asheville sacrifice Christmas gifts for Hurricane Sandy victims

ASHEVILLE, NC (WSOC) -- Two brothers from East Asheville are doing their part to help Superstorm Sandy victims.

Ash and Aramus Dibella, 9-year-old twins, have been busy making blankets for those victims.

The boy's grandmother said they first learned about the devastation on the news and wanted to help, so she taught the twins how to sew.

Their grandmother said the boys sacrificed their Christmas money to pay for supplies and in addition to the blankets wanted to make pillows.

Altogether the boys created 10 fleece blankets.

The blankets will be hand delivered to victims of Hurricane Sandy by members of the boys' church.
