Southeast Elite 24 Classic returns to Port City

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- The Southeast Elite 24 Classic will be held in Wilmington on March 30th. It'll feature most of the top high school basketball seniors in the eastern part of North Carolina. This year's event will feature a girls game, a boys game, a slam dunk event, a skills contest and a three point shooting contest.

Admission is $8 a person. Doors open at 1pm on Saturday, March 30 at Brogden Hall in Wilmington. Proceeds will benefit the Cape Fear Chapter of the American Heart Association.

EXCITED FOR EVENT ON MARCH 30TH AT NEW HANOVER HIGH SCHOOL. THIS WILL BE AN AWESOME EVENT FEATURING SOME OF THE BEST BASKETBALL PLAYERS IN THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA (GIRLS & BOYS) NEW HANOVER HIGH SCHOOL WILL BE THE PLACE TO BE. THEY ARE HAVING A DUNK CONTEST A 3 POINT CONTEST AND A SKILLS CHALLENGE WITH TWO GOOD GAMES WITH A TON OF TALENT. A GIRLS GAME AND A BOYS GAME. EVERY WILMINGTON SPORTS FAN OR SOMEBODY JUST LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO DO ON A SATURDAY AFTERNOON COME OVER TO BROGDEN HALL TO CELEBRATE WITH US. ALSO YOU CANT FORGET THE EVENT WILL RAISE MONEY FOR THE FIGHT AGAINST HEART DISEASE THE NUMBER 1 KILLER OF PEOPLE IN AMERICA. LETS HELP RAISE A TON OF MONEY FOR THE EVENT TO SAVE LIVES IN OUR AREA WE HAVE TO SUPPORT EACH OTHER GUYS THIS WILL BE GOOD FOR WILMINGTON AND HOPEFULLY WILL KEEP THE VIOLENCE AND TROUBLE AT A MINIMUM FOR A COUPLE HOURS.
