Entertainment and fireworks canceled tonight at Carolina Beach

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) -- The advance of Tropical Storm Andrea has washed out tonight's entertainment scheduled for the Carolina Beach Boardwalk.

The Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce has canceled its weekly Fireworks by the Sea and Boardwalk Blast Music.

The pyrotechnics won't go to waste, though. They'll be part of a double fireworks show next Thursday at 9 p.m. following music from the Mark Roberts Band at the gazebo starting at 6:30 p.m.
