Tee off next Friday to help the Coast Guard

WILMINGTON, NC (NEWS RELEASE) -- The Wilmington Navy League is hosting the 3rd Annual DILI Golf Charity Tournament Nov. 15. The tournament will be played at Beau Rivage Golf & Resort in Wilmington.

All proceeds from this year's tournament directly support the US Coast Guard Scholarship at Cape Fear Community College and Pink Heals of Cape Fear. The US Coast Guard Scholarship assists local Coast Guard members and their families in attending classes at the college, affording members a chance to develop themselves professionally while working towards a myriad of degrees. Pink Heals of Cape Fear, with their distinctive pink fire truck "Claudia" helps families in the Cape Fear region offset financial burdens incurred while battling all types of cancer.

Tiffany Lewis represents Pink Heals and Myles McCarthy is a crew member aboard Coast Guard Cutter Diligence. They both stopped by GMC to explain more.
