Wilmington Police arrest robbery suspect

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police have arrested Glenn Boyer, who they say was involved with a robbery on South College Road.

Police say a victim entered a convenience store and went to the counter to pay for his items, when Boyer walked up from behind and tried to add more items to the victim’s purchase. When the victim only paid for his items and walked out the store, police say Boyer followed and punched him in the face.

Then, police say, Boyer took the victim’s wallet and ran away.

Boyer was booked into New Hanover County Jail under $10,000 bond.  He’s scheduled to appear in court Monday.
