UPDATE: Vehicle found, Brunswick County woman, child still missing
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The vehicle of the missing woman, who deputies say could be being held against her will, along with her child, has been found.
Brunswick County investigators say Shayla Da’nia Bryant, 21, was last seen by her mother and grandfather on Cedar Grove Road near the intersection of Stone Chimney Road Saturday. They say she may also be with her 1-year-old child Alijah Powell.
A spokeswoman says deputies have located the Honda Pilot which was thought to be driven by missing woman Shayla Bryant or Dwight Powell, the man wanted for questioning in a recent shooting. She says the vehicle was found close to where Shayla and her one year old son Alijah were last seen following the shooting incident.
Deputies are still searching for Shayla and her son and Powell.

Investigators say Bryant is likely with Dwight Powell Jr., 28, who is a person of interest in a shooting the day Bryant went missing. No injuries were reported in the shooting.
Investigators say the two were last seen in Bryant’s 2003 Honda Pilot. But they say the two could also be in a gold 2006 Chevrolet Impala with tag BBS1087.
A sheriff’s office spokeswoman says Powell is considered armed and dangerous, and Bryant may be with him against her will. Investigators think she might be in South Carolina, but a specific location is not known.
