One hurt in shooting at Houston Moore community

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police say one person was shot in the Houston Moore community Tuesday afternoon.

Wilmington Police Department spokeswoman Linda Rawley says it happened around 3 p.m. near the 1500 block of East Plaza.

Rawley says the victim is at the hospital, but there’s no word on their condition. She says police are looking for a suspect.
