UNCW orders mandatory evacuation for all students

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) – UNCW has issued a mandatory campus evacuation for all students.

A post on UNCW’s Facebook page says students are encouraged to depart campus on Thursday morning and not to travel during the evening hours. Students must leave campus no later than 12 p.m. on Thursday.

Students should attend residence halls meetings at 8:30 tonight for additional information.  Parents, be sure to send your questions with your students! All UNCW classes and events are cancelled as of 5 p.m. Wednesday.
