Brunswick County detectives searching for wanted man

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Brunswick County sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s help in finding a wanted Wilmington man.

A sheriff’s spokeswoman said Brian Michael Gines, 27, is wanted for several charges all stemming from an incident at a home on Sassapan Drive in Shallotte on Saturday.

The spokeswoman said Gines faces second degree burglary, larceny after breaking or entering and misdemeanor larceny charges.

Gines is described as a white man, about 5’11”, has dark hair and a medium build. They said he was driving a burgundy Chevrolet Malibu with damage to the driver’s side and a missing back bumper.
