Whiteville police searching for shooting suspect

WHITEVILLE, NC (WWAY) – The Whiteville Police Department is searching for the suspect wanted for shooting into a vehicle and hitting the driver.

It happened October 10.

Whiteville police have a warrant for Carl Mason, Jr, 21, for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

Police say Mason fired several rounds into a vehicle on Tram Road.

Mason is 5’8″, 170 pounds.
