Thompson changes course, will run for re-election

Jason Thompson is not done running for office after all. The first-term New Hanover County Commissioner changed his mind this morning and announced he will run for re-election despite saying earlier that he would not run.

NC ALE agents help make arrests in Rocky Mount

State Alcohol Law Enforcement officials say they'll continue operations such as one this past weekend in Rocky Mount, where 35 arrests were made on charges including selling cocaine, possessing a stolen firearm, driving while impaired and operating an illegal alcohol establishment.
