Standoff suspect heads to court

The man police say caused an hours long standoff in Wilmington last night heads to court today. James Lorrie Hall, 66, is charged with assault with a deadly weapon, assault on a female and communicating threats.

Bladen Co. man arrested for plow theft

Bladen County deputies have arrested a Clarkton man for allegedly stealing a plow out of a field. Alston Lynn Collins, 31, of 356 Bridgers Rd. is charged with felony larceny and possession of stolen property.
