It's springtime now, and we're going to have to have more of these severe weather talks.

It's almost a guarantee. Whenever it's warm, and it's not "supposed to be" warm - you'll find some severe weather to correct things back to normal.

After a few wet days, welcome back to the drier side of things. It was almost weird watching/hearing/feeling it rain in such a constant way this weekend.

While our "no show" winter continues (yes, there are more 70's in the forecast) some parts of the US are recording readings that may make you do a few double takes.

High and dry with pleasant temps for a few days, but a bump in the road looks likely for Friday.

I didn't grow up a Penn State fan. I didn't grow up idolizing Joe Paterno. Sure, I knew who he was -- saw him on ESPN, knew he'd won a whole bunch of football games -- but I didn't really know much about the man some called "a living legend." That all changed when I rolled into State College for my freshmen year at Penn State in 2005.

I've gotten a lot of 'complaints' that Mother Nature just can't make up her mind this winter. To an extent, that's true.

Hard to believe it, but again in the dead of winter we'll be looking at a severe weather threat.

Say goodbye to the cold, at least for now. Below normal is being replaced by above normal temps as we head toward the weekend, with some other changes too.
