Dear Mother Nature, we the people of Southeastern North Carolina would like to formally request that this week come to pass without the touchdown of any tornadoes. Is that too much to ask?

It takes a lot of hard work to figure out just how many tornadoes actually touched down after a major storm like this one, but the numbers are in, and they are record breaking.

It's the week of weather we've been waiting for - so what are we supposed to do now? No more whining I guess. The warm and sunny Thursday was fantastic, and today will be even better.
