Fans disappointed by Lil Wayne no-show

"Refunds will be given by the person or business that sold you the ticket". HA,HA,HA,HA etc....That money was spent months ago on baby diapers, crack and rent money. No refund's here. But don't be mad all you hater's, you got conned by a pro hustler(self proclaimed) and there will by another hood rat role model that will come thru the area in about 2 months to do the same thing. You will get a second chance. Maybe Lil-Moron will write a song about you and your stupid belief that he cared about you....... Down in Willmywood they could not catch a break, I took them for all their money and I even ate some cake, I'm never goin back cuz I know that they be hatein, just think abou all those smart people on WWAY instigatin........ Not bad for my first try. Sucka's, all of you and the funniest part is that you defended him until the end. Up untill the concert you said it was a racial thing, us whiteys and grown-ups just couldnt understand it. Now you want a refund? So it is all about the money. Sorry your lesson of how life works had to be taught by a gangsta but that's life. Sometimes you get robbed from behind and sometimes it's your brother. Ha!

So the concert promoter stated he would consider filing another lawsuit if the concert did not sell out. How much taxpayer money was wasted on law enforcement for a concert that never happened. I think our city attorney needs to get off his butt and counter the lawsuit and sue the promoter for the cost to the city and county. Poor little thugmaster wayne.. didn't want to play becuase nobody wiked him enough to come out to his party.... Gimme a break ! Also, the laws need to be changed so that officials can decide who and who does not get to play nicely at Brogden Hall.... Lil Wayne.. A waste of human life...

No lost sleep here, I SURE HOPE that the school board holds THEM to the contract and makes them pay for holding the venue open. Again...no loss to Wilmington whatsoever. ok as someone who was actually there and behind the scenes I can say LIL WAYNE WAS AT NEW HANOVER! I don't blame him for not performing. Those of you who dont know why he didnt perform should be quiet. He was promised a certain amount of money, but the good ol boys in Wilmington (the WPD & government) decided to use those funds for "added security" which was extremely unnecessary. They thought that by selling tickets at the door (which was not previously planned) they would make up for the "re-allocated" money and still have enough to pay the said amount. When this didnt happen and he didnt get his money he chose not to perform. He's a rapper!! Thats his JOB! how many of you all would do your job for less than what your promised salary was??? I damn sure wouldnt. And if you were at the concert, you know that everyone was told where to take their ticket stubs to get their refund back. Most of you that are on here talkin about "oh ha ha hes such a gangsta and didnt want to perform for yall" are once again looking to the media (who never gets it right) for all your information, and look real foolish. As for the comment about the "white girls in skirts and polo shirts", they may have been making "a scene" outside where there were nearly 100 officers and a damn helicopter (for about 200 high school kids??), but they were quiet and on the sidelines inside the show. Not that that has anything to do with this issue and the media making the wrong reports (because yes LIL WAYNE WAS THERE), but please please please KNOW your facts before you make comments, and don't think because you saw it on the news that you know what you're talking about, because when one fool spreads a word, everyone who repeats it looks even dumber!

I say someone is owed some money y'all. And all you old david dukes who wanted this concert stopped will have to pay. Lil Wayne came here to do a show. He got costs to pay out and he could have been doing some show someplace elase. Stan and Mitch had there game on but the sheriff and his boys didnt give the men a chance. Yo, tell me what white guy who has a concert has hundreds of police buggin the people outside? Man the streets were blocked and parents had tolet their kids off 2 blocks away. That aint right, but it is white now aint it? Mighty white! ATM !!!

THE MAN BLOCKED THE SHOW My God how can a man make money if the police have to block people from coming in and enjoying the show? This show was blocked from day one. White folk don't want black kids having fun. They sure don't want any money being made by black businessmen. They prevented Lil Wayne's armed bodyguards from entering the building so Weezy wouldn't go on. These men had permits for the weapons. they are ex-cops working security for one of the most popular rap artists in the world. Lil Wayne was basically run out of town by the gestapo. the sad thing is he had things to say to the people of Wilmington about the violence. But he was blocked with strong armed threats of violence by the redneck sheriff.

It seems to me the Kausey's Kids that were out in force played a big part in the reason that this hoodlum didn't do the concert. That is one thing about Sid and his Kid's that i feel good about from all the rest of the dissapointment of late. Most likely this was the best thing for the kids that were planning on going to the concert. Not a chance for it to get out of hand. Great. And just think of all the drinking and drug money that was funneled off the streets for a few days by kids that went and bought these tickets. And I don't feel a thing for the couple of scalpers that were trying to make a buck!

Well, well. Not enough fans for him to play for? Not enough CASH for him. Reports said he was on the bus at the hall. Thats one low life to leave all the kids standing there. I knew he would NOT show up! this is why I told my three teenage Daughters that We were NOT going to go.. Any person that has charges as he does has common sense NOT to show up to be caught and sent back to the state and county they are charged and wanted in... The word on the streets out here in the long leaf park area is, He has been seen and spotted out in the area near the boys and girls club with another well known person. How true it is I cant say as it was and is hear say and I did NOT see him for myself.

Maybe he over slept and missed the bus...or couldn't find Wilmington???? There will be businesses shutting down today due to this event, I just know it!!!

Yeah, this guy is soooo great huh? He did not care about all you fans at all, he left because there were not enough of you to bother with. All I can say is Wilmington has spoken and we won. He thinks he can sue the city now, what a joke. He need to realize that the people with the power (most of the law abiding general public) do not approve of his lifestyle and do not want him in this town with his c-rap music.

This is the funniest story I've seen in a long while. After all these little wannabe ganstas were defending their hero, he didn't even show up! Hey...it's cool. He's just keeping it real. (and keeping your money)... My favorite part was on the channel 3 news this morning...the line to get in was a lot of mid-teenage black guys, but the ones jumping around after the show was cancelled throwing up their hands and cursing were a couple of blonde headed white girls in skirts and polo shirts. They are the real gangstas here!
