Snow falling in western North Carolina

It's snowing in western North Carolina. The National Weather Service reported snow falling in Asheville, Boone, Franklin and Jefferson early Wednesday morning. The weather service said heavy snow was possible in parts of the mountains.

Days after earliest snow, Wilmington sets record high temperature

Wilmington set a record low temperature of 29 degrees Wednesday morning And recorded the city's earliest snow ever. And less than a week later, today wilmington broke a record high temperature of 83 degrees.
