82nd Airborne to participate in naming ceremony

Approximately 100 paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne Division who are currently serving and those who served in Vietnam are scheduled to participate in a ceremony that will rename a dining facility at Fort Bragg.

SEAL book raises questions about bin Laden's death

A Navy SEAL who participated in the raid that killed Osama bin Laden says the terrorist apparently was shot in the head as he looked out his bedroom door, contradicting previous official accounts describing him as being shot after ducking back into his room and possibly reaching for a weapon.

video The Navy SEAL who wrote about the raid that killed Osama bin Laden under a pseudonym is Matt Bissonnette, who retired from the Navy last summer. Bissonnette is from Virginia Beach, VA. He was first identified by Fox News.

video A Brunswick County military installation was on high alert today. It was part of a simulated attack planned at Sunny Point Military Ocean Terminal near Southport by civilian contractors. Though it was just a drill, base officials are not taking it lightly.
