BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Jail records show a man in Brunswick County is facing trafficking charges.
According to the Brunswick County Jail, Michael Wayne Boyles, 31, was booked yesterday afternoon on a charge of human trafficking. The arrest warrant shows he’s also facing a felony charge of promoting prostitution. He’s currently being held under a $2 million bond. According to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, there was one victim. The dates of offense were listed this week, according to arrest warrants.
A woman is also facing charges in the same investigation. Hazel Christine Murray, 26, is facing a felony charge of promoting prostitution. Warrants show both suspects live in the High Point area.
