WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Blackfinn Ameripub has become a popular restaurant for many in downtown Wilmington, but its counterpart next door, Vida Mexican Kitchen and Cantina, hasn’t officially opened its doors to the public.

The venue is roughly 9,000 square feet and stands right by Blackfinn along the Riverwalk.

Developer Chuck Shoninger says the intent was to open Vida before the end of this past season, but that didn’t happen.

Now, he says they could decide to scrap the Vida concept altogether and go with something completely different for the venue.

No word on when that decision will be made.

Everything about that new Marina is suspect….no handicap accessible showers and toilets at the Marina ? No public restrooms installed as agreed with the city ? Golf carts on the Riverwalk ? Restaurants that aren’t opening ? ArmyCorpEngineers had Marina remove its outer fuel docks / No selling Fuel ?
