CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — The restrooms at the Hamlet Avenue beach access in Carolina Beach will be demolished soon to make way for new construction.
Starting Monday, they will be closed.
The entire parking lot will close September 30 through Wednesday, October 2 while the bathrooms are being torn down.
After that parking spaces will be limited due to the construction.
Additional parking is the town lot at 102 Hamlet Avenue.
Construction of a new ocean rescue facility is also scheduled to start in November, which will close the lot through May of next year.
