WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — One long-standing holiday tradition in the Cape Fear is coming back this season with a new look, and new precautions during the pandemic. It’s the Holiday Flea at the BAC, better known as Wilmington’s Brooklyn Arts Center.
It’s been going on for more than a decade, and organizers have spent months trying to make sure patrons and vendors will be safe at this year’s market, Dec. 4-6.
The changes include social distance mandates, and a mask requirement for vendors and customers. The bar will be outdoors this year to encourage more social distancing, and the vendor list has been pared from 50 to 40, to allow for more space between booths inside. Food trucks will be on site for tasty treats, including WilmyWoodie on Friday, Catch The Food Truck on Saturday, and Bill’s Front Porch on Sunday.
A $5 entry fee gets you admitted all weekend.
Hours are Friday, Dec. 4, 4pm-9pm; Saturday, Dec. 5, 10am-5pm; and Sunday Dec. 6, noon-5pm.
The Brooklyn Arts Center is at 516 N. 4th Street in Wilmington. For more information, visit here.
