UPDATE: Wilmington Police identify man who drowned in the Cape Fear River last month
A body found in the Cape Fear River on Saturday has been confirmed as the unidentified man who jumped in the river last month.

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington Police Department has identified the man who drowned in the Cape Fear River last month.
According to police, the man is 55-year-old Guadalupe Lorenzo Reyes.
Police say Reyes has unknown ties to the Wilmington area.
The body of Reyes was found in the Cape Fear River earlier this month, previously confirmed as the unidentified male who jumped in the river on March 29.
The body washed up on the rocky shore near the North Carolina State Ports.
