Texas-based company to hire 100 in Jamesville
JAMESVILLE, N.C. (AP) – A company that makes retail display equipment plans to open a new facility in Jamesville where it will create 100 jobs and invest $190,000 over the next three years.
Gov. Beverly Perdue said Thursday that The Marco Company located in the Martin County town partially because it received a $200,000 grant from the One North Carolina Fund.
Salaries will vary by job function with a total payroll for the new jobs of nearly $2.5 million.
The family-owned company has its headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas.
