Man wanted for murder in SC may be in Brunswick County

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WWAY) — Police in South Carolina say a man wanted for murder may be hiding out in North Carolina.

An Horry County Police spokesperson says LaKenneth Clarida, 31, of Longs, SC, may be in Brunswick County. Police want him for a shooting Monday near Little River, SC. They say he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Clarida is about 6’2″, 195 pounds. Police say he is from the Longs area, but may be in North Carolina now.
