Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run crash identified

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police have released the name of a man killed in a hit-and-run crash last night.

Police say the victim is Thomas Kramek of Wilmington.

Police said last night the 58-year-old was pushing a shopping cart across the 200 block of Military Cutoff Road at 8:39 p.m. when he was hit by a small, dark-colored sedan.

A witness told police the car had a delivery sign on its roof. Investigators say the car should have significant front end damage.
