WPD looking for suspect involved in hit-and-run

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) – Wilmington Police need the your help to locate a suspect vehicle involved in a hit and run that severely damaged a vehicle.

It happened shortly after midnight Friday, police said. According to a news release, they are looking for a dark grey Toyota, possibly a Land Cruiser or Tacoma that drove off the roadway and struck a parked car in the yard in the 6600 block of Greenville Loop Road, causing extensive damage to both vehicles. The suspect’s vehicle will have damage on the right side, police said.
