Woman punched, robbed at Hardee’s parking lot

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Police are looking for the man accused of punching and robbing a woman in a Hardee’s parking lot.

It happened at the business located on 2518 Carolina Beach Road on Saturday night at around 8:00 p.m. Police said they were told by a 38-year-old victim that she was walking through the parking lot when she was approached by a man who punched her in the face and pulled her to the ground by her hair. The suspect then reached into her pockets and took cash, the victim told police.

The suspect was described as a black male with a salt and pepper beard, 30-40 years old, approximately 5`09″-6`00″ tall, weighing 150-175 lbs. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood over his head. The suspect ran off in an unknown direction.
